A) Donate
Streetlight Canada is a not for profit organization and survives off the generosity of those who believe in its mission. These funds will be directed towards the current project in need outlined by Streetlight Philippines.
Current Project
Current project in need is to build a new Study and Development center. Once opened this center will give another one hundred children the right environment and support to enter into the education system.Sponsor a Child
The cost to give a child the proper medical treatment, nutrition, school supplies and pay all school fees is a large part of Streetlight's expenses. Sponsor a child program is an opportunity for you to take some of this burden. For $420 a year you can help Streetlight take on another child into their program. There is no multiyear contract.

B) Volunteer In Canada
Streetlight Canada is a very active organization and can always use extra hands to help. Whether it's helping run an information session, host a booth or help at one of our fundraisers there is always room.

C) Volunteer in Tacloban
Streetlight Canada no longer is responsible for directly sending volunteers overseas to the Philippines. However, it is still possible to visit the shelter for four weeks or more during the summer through volunteering with our parent organization, Streetlight Philippines. Each year the activities within the trip change but the main focus will always be to create relationship with a child and to bring resources they need to succeed.
If you're interested in joining this kind of work, please contact us with a description your experience and ideas! Again, while Streetlight Canada does not send volunteers overseas, we can put you in contact with an appropriate Streetlight Philippines agent to consider such a trip.
D) Become a Board Member!
Streetlight Canada is a young organization with room to grow. Without the direction and man power behind this organization it would cease to exist. If you feel passionate about supporting this project and can give a one year commitment to meet monthly to discuss the direction of the organization please contact a current executive about available opportunities.
