Streetlight Canada is proud to announce our partnership with Free and Easy Traveler! Free and Easy is a backpacking group that visits various locations around the world every summer. They offer unique laid-back trips that allow their travelers to experience each country to the fullest. Part of their approach includes becoming involved in community projects in the countries they visit. We are pleased to have Streetlight as their chosen program in the Philippines.

2008 Partners

One of our main areas of focus on for the 2008 Project is the creation of a learning centre for the kids; computers and knowledge of their use are a huge asset in the local workforce of the Philippines. We've hit a huge milestone in getting some technological assistance from the Electronics Recycling Association! With desktop computers and laptops in hand, our next focus of teaching typing and computing skills, as well as classroom lessons, will be far easier to achieve!
